Te Wahapū o Waihī Trust protects, restores and revitalises the Waihī Estuary and catchment for present and future generations. Guided by "He oranga te wahapū, he oranga te iwi", we work with iwi, whānau, communities, landowners and partners to restore mahinga kai, strengthen kaitiakitanga and mātauranga Māori, improve environmental health, and build enduring connections between people and the estuary.
