We aim to explore, study, and document cave and karst environments in New Zealand and elsewhere; encourage and support study and training in caving techniques; encourage and support research on cave related sciences; promote and advocate awareness and conservation of caves and karst landscapes in New Zealand; and liaise with other cave-related groups and agencies.
