The gahua of Taonga O Te Moana is about creating Vā (spaces) where our rangatahi can truly connect with the full diversity of all Pasifika cultures. Through our weekly programmes, ancestral storytelling, music, and dance, we give youth a safe place to explore and claim the distinct heritages and identities that make up the Pacific. These pathways build real cross-cultural understanding for both Pasifika and non-Pasifika youth, offering a genuine sense of belonging that empowers our young people
