Charitable Purpose

The Pōhutu Charitable Trust aims to provide support to present and future members of the three hāpu (Ngāti Hurungaterangi, Ngāti Taeotu, me Ngāti Te Kahu o Ngāti Whakaue) in the areas of the relief of poverty, the advancement of education or religion or any other matter beneficial to the communities and individuals comprising those hāpu irrespective of where they may reside.
