Charitable Purpose
The Friends of Russell Customhouse Trust exists to restore, protect, and sustainably manage the Heritage Category 1 Russell Customhouse at 37 The Strand, Kororāreka Russell. Through community stewardship, partnership with Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga, and charitable governance, the Trust will secure the building’s future, reinvesting any surplus into its upkeep and supporting other community initiatives for the benefit of Kororāreka Russell.
