As per clause 2.4 of the Trust Deed which includes but is not limited to: the promotion of educational, spiritual, economic, social and cultural advancement and well-being of the beneficiaries of Te Hononga o Ngā Awa (THoNA); strengthening and retaining the traditional, cultural and spiritual values of the beneficiaries of THoNA; assisting in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and establishment of places of cultural or spiritual significance to the beneficiaries of THoNA
