The purposes of the Ahuahu Mercury Island Conservation Trust are to conserve and enhance the natural environment and biodiversity at Ahuahu Mercury Island, to facilitate reasonable public access to land situated at Ahuahu Mercury Island, to advance relevant academic studies in relation to Ahuahu Mercury Island, and to promote the cultural significance of Ahuahu Mercury Island to members of the public.
