Charitable Purpose
To promote involvement in astronautics within the University of Waikato and in the Waikato region. Creating opportunities for students and community members to experience rocketry and other activities first hand (design, modelling, fabrication etc.), UWAC intends to make this more accessible and in a safe environment.
Through community engagement and passion, UWAC plans to advance astronautics in the Waikato region and inspire people to explore this and related engineering disciplines.
