Charitable Purpose
4.1 Purposes: The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund upon trust to apply in New Zealand the income and capital of the Trust Fund to such charitable purposes, in such amounts, at such times, and subject to such terms and conditions, as the Trustees may decide, including:
4.1.1 To improve health outcomes and patient safety by contributing to a safe, person-centred and responsive health system in which patients, health consumers, whānau and communities are heard, respected, supported and meaningfully involved in decisions about health care and the health system.
4.1.2 To promote the prevention of avoidable harm and safer care by supporting learning, transparency, accountability, reporting, improvement and system-wide approaches to patient safety and health system safety.
4.1.3 To amplify and advocate for the voices, experiences and interests of patients, health consumers and whānau, and to contribute an independent consumer perspective to health policy, legislation, regulation, research,
