To provide and operate an aviation heritage center where the aircraft and aviation history especially where it is related to Tairawhiti is protected by renovating and ,maintaining, collecting or purchase of aircraft ' aviation memorabilia and other related objects.
To use the resources of the museum to educate and stimulate the communities appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of aviation history by providing Exhibitions, special events and learning opportunities.
