To plan, coordinate, and deliver cultural, educationalsocial welfare activities for e benefit of its members. To foster fellowship and a sense of community among senior members, while also promoting connections with similar organisations from other ethnic backgrounds. To collaborate with community groups and agencies in organising activities that support seniors in integrating into and adapting to the New Zealand way of life, helping to reduce social isolation. To develop and implement initiatives that preserve and promote the Hindi and Mãori languages and cultures at the community level. To encourage and support member participation in social and cultural programmes held at community centres throughout Auckland. To assist members who are disabled or experiencing emotional distress by providing counselling, transport, or referrals to appropriate support services.
