Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

To provide a safe Te Āo Māori learning space for tamariki aged 0-5 years and whānau to grow together to share our Māori language, values, customs and beliefs within the Tāhuna and surrounding areas. This will also encompass a whānau support group looking at the potential avenues of creating a kōhanga reo or puna reo.

Entity Structure

Our team is based in Tāhuna, currently working out of a home address, with an aim to open an office within the region. Our deed states we must maintain between two and seven trustees. We currently have two trustees who constitute our governance and we seek to employ a management team to manage operations day to day.
