• To advance education by supporting and enabling society members and the local community to research their family history , whakapapa, genealogies and kindred subjects. • To provide assistance for the members of the Society and the local community wishing to compile family histories Maintain a library of books, documents and digital records to preserve those have genealogical or historical value
