To uplift the mauri of the historical lands of Ngati Taka;
To establish kaitiakitanga responsibilities among our hapu members;
To imbed a sense of whanaungatanga in our Hapu via whakapapa wananga;
To reignite Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga and to raise cultural awareness ;
To further the visions of our strategic plan;
To empower whanau to be living on their ancestral land;
To attend to the physical, mental and welfare issues that arise with our Hapu.

Entity Structure
The Trust comprises of a minimum of five voluntary Trustees to a maximum of seven, which includes three executive officer positions Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. Committee meetings are held monthly.
