Charitable Purpose
To continue the work of the established volunteer project GorseBusters to restore the native biodiversity of Ōkārito Lagoon and its surrounds. Gorse in particular has been identified as a significant threat to the natural values of the remote Ōkārito Lagoon, NZ's largest unmodified coastal wetland, and the charity aims to support work to remove and protect the lagoon shoreline from the gradual encroachment of invasive weeds such as gorse
