Charitable Purpose

Aratiatia Community Marae provides as space of Te Ao Maaori within our wider Fairfield, Enderley, Chartwell communities. Ko Aratiatia te Marae Ko Te Ihorangi te whare Ko Raaua te Wharekai Ko Kukutaaruhe te rohe Ko Marawaatea te kura Ko Ngaati Wairere te mana whenua We provide space, education, waananga, events, tikanga practices, and facilities for the community to enjoy, learn, and be immersed in.

Entity Structure

We are governed by our Marae Committee with representatives of the community, school, and hapuu. We employ a part time Kaitiaki Marae to ensure kawa and tikanga are adhered to as well as take care of day to day activities. In partnership with our local high school, our finances are administered by the school management and finance team.
