Charitable Purpose

The Trust is established for the purpose of building social trust and cohesion through cultural awareness and education.Focused on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging the Trust creates opportunities to learn and increase understanding and appreciation of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds; increase mental wellbeing and resilience of ethnic community members and provides culturally competent support and resources for neurodiverse ethnic children and their families.

We have a head office based in Christchurch. Our trust deed states that we must have at least three Trustees. we currently have five Trustees that constitute our governing board, including three executive positions: Chairperson, treasurer and secretary. We have an independent Chief Exec who manages and overseas the general operations of the organisation.
