Ōtautahi Animal Refuge & Education Trust (“OAR”) provides free support, education, refuge, rehabilitation, care and re-homing of abused and neglected domestic pets. While the focus is primarily rabbits, OAR is also committed to a range of birds, dogs and other animals.
To provide a sustainable not-for-profit service devoted to creating real lasting change for the lives of
domestic animals, primarily domestic rabbits and battery hens, in the Christchurch and surrounding
areas.
