Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Improve the accessibility of swimming facilities and promote the benefits of aquatics based activity within the community. Particular focus will be put into programs that have a direct positive impact on members of the community, with the specific intent to decrease the number of preventable drowning events and improve the health and wellness of local residents.

Our trust is focused on work in Northland; however, our trustees are located throughout Northland and Auckland. We have no fixed location or offices. Our deed states that we require no less than 3 trustees, of which we currently have 5, which constitutes our governance board, including three executive positions: chairperson, treasurer and secretary.
