Charitable Purpose

The charitable purpose of Koloa Tonga Trust is to promote and advance the education of the overseas-born Tongan in Aotearoa the importance of our Koloa faka-Tonga (Tongan arts & treasure), our lea faka-Tonga (Tongan languange), our hiva faka-Tonga (Tongan music & tau'olunga), our anga faka-Tonga (Tonga culture), and the importance of a healthy living (mental health) like excercising and playing sports (physical, psychological, suicide prevention, and well-being). Koloa Tonga Trust long term goal is to helpout young people who are in poverty and teach them how to do photography and film making for a living instead of taking alcohols and drugs. We can also find them a job and put them back on their feet to work and look after themselves.
