Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purposes of the Society are to: To support Maori Whanau who experience hardship by referring them to services within the Marlborough community who might meet their wider well being needs; and/or to provide packages of care to support their short term hardship needs. To receive koha of food, clothing, firewood and other koha, To distribute this to Maori whanau who are experiencing hardship with the Marlborough region.

Entity Structure

The Society shall have a managing committee ("the Committee"), comprising the following persons: the Chair/President, The Secretary, The Treasurer and other such members as the society shall decide. Only members of the Society may be Committee members. There shall be a minimum of four Committee members, in addition to the officers.
