Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Tautai o le Moana Trust Board governs Tautai o le Moana - Wayfinders of the Ocean . It is the educational PLD arm of the New Zealand Pasifika Principals Association. The main purpose of Tautai o le Moana is to improve outcomes for Pacifika learners, through strengthening leadership capabliities in schools. Tautai o le Moana Facilitators (all current and ex Principals) work directly with school leaders to develop their understanding of their obligations and ways to effect the NELPs (National Education Learning Priorities, the action plan for Pacific Education and their cultural capabilites.
