The trust has been established (a) To advance the cause of public education in New Zealand (b) advance the interests of members of New Zealand Pos-Primary Teachers Association inc. The PPTA is the union and professional organisation for most teachers and leaders in secondary schools. (c) affirm and advance Te Tiriti o Waitangi (d) promote and coordinate legal and management advice in a cost-effective manner for secondary and area school leadership. See (e) (f) and (g) as per the Trust Deed.
