Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

To facilitate and support services and other resources for the social welfare of the migrant community. To facilitate a united platform where all migrants, individuals, and all existing migrant organisations in NZ can work together locally, regionally & nationally towards a common goal. Providing education, and information-based training around employment laws & legal obligations, to assist migrant workers and business owners. Organising social welfare & cultural programs. Migrants United Council Inc. is a young organisation with a unique vision of having a common platform for all migrants living in New Zealand. Our objective is to help and protect the rights of the migrant community by coordinating with various ethnic communities and ministries, utilising available resources and working towards bridging the gaps amongst wider communities/locals to promote peace, harmony and an environment of trust in the wider society as a multicultural country.

Entity Structure

Board Members to monitor and govern the goals. Executive committee to carry out and decide activities in the welfare. Executive committee to comprise President, Secretary, Treasurer & Spokesperson. Board members may perform the Executive duties in the absence of executive members.
