Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Trust is to work to alleviate hygiene poverty in New Zealand and educate the public of New Zealand about the hygiene poverty that exist in New Zealand. In particular the Trust will campaign for and facilitate the donation of hygiene products to be gifted to people in need, either directly or through partnerships, and campaign for and facilitate the donation of money to support the Trust in meeting costs and to be gifted organisations that share the same purpose as the Trust.

The entity is a incorporated charitable trust and has a board of Trustees - currently with 4 individuals, three of whom are in executive positions of chair, treasurer and secretary. The trust deed states the may be up to 10 trustees, with a minimum of 3. All trustees are volunteers and are not paid for their time or services to the Trust.
