East Skate Club operates New Zealand’s only fully indoor skatepark, providing a safe, inclusive, and weather-proof environment for all wheeled sports — including skateboarding, rollerblading, scootering, and BMX. Our mission is to build a healthier, more connected community through wheeled sports. We promote active lifestyles, social inclusion, and positive youth engagement while advocating for better public skate facilities across East Auckland, including a much-needed new skatepark at Lloyd Elsmore Park. Formed in 2022, East Skate Club brings together parents, skaters, local businesses, and council partners with a shared goal of creating spaces where young people can thrive physically, mentally, and socially. We are committed to nurturing talent, growing confidence, and providing meaningful pathways for youth development through community participation, mentorship, and events.
