Charitable Purpose

The objects for which the Trust is established are to: (a) Foster and promote education and understanding of climate change and measures to reduce climate change in New Zealand; (b) Educate the New Zealand public, politicians and decision-makers about policy measures that can be implemented in New Zealand to reduce or mitigate the effects of climate change; (c) Finance and make available, in media accessible by the New Zealand public, fact-based information about policy measures that can be implemented.

We are a charitable trust with a nation-wide focus. Our trust deed states that there may be up to 7 trustees. Currently, there are 4 trustees, all of whom are (coincidentally) Wellington based. Further trustees may be appointed from time to time.
