Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To foster the game of Table Tennis and provide opportunities for people in its area to be able to play. We cater for all ages from six to eighty plus and see this as beneficial to the health and well being of all participants. We believe that the active participation of these people is beneficial to the community. We encourage people living with disabilities to play and experience the game for fun, health and skill development. Links are made with schools as sports are an important.

Entity Structure

Table Tennis Northland is affiliated to Table Tennis New Zealand. A Management Committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting. This committee is made up of a President, Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and up to six committee members. All monies received are paid to the credit of TTN at a bank determined by the Management Committee. All accounts are paid by automatic payment or direct debit, authorized by two committee members. Accounts are reviewed annually.
