Charitable Purpose

1. Reduce dental health disparities in, but not limited to, Māori and Pasifika, refugees, older persons and homeless persons; 2. Promote and advance increased awareness of dental poverty and the importance of oral health; 3. Provide a range of mobile and community-based education, training and support services; 4. Deliver a range of oral health services including but not limited to, examinations, fillings, extractions and periodontal therapy; 5. Support the maintenance of good oral health practices through the provision of free oral information and products; 6. Engage with dental professionals and other agencies and organisations to increase the awareness of, support for and provision of dental care throughout New Zealand.

Entity Structure

The Trust is governed by a Trust Board with 3 - 7 trustees. Sub-committees will be formed as required. Aon-voting advisor members may also be co-opted onto the Trust Board or sub-committees to provide specialist knowledge as required.
