Charitable Purpose

The Canterbury Fijian Rugby Club has recognized the needs of the Fijian players and their families, thus has addressed it through its proposed programs. The CFRC has identified in its strategic plan the main foci for the club and its members and intends to implement the activities in our five different streams – WELLBEING, DEVELOPMENT, EVENTS, COMMUNICATION and LEADERSHIP to work towards achieving our main mission. Entity Structure

We are based in Christchurch looking to expand within Canterbury region. Our trust deed states that we must have 3 to 7 trustees. We currently have 4 trustees that constitute our governance board including three executive positions; president, treasurer and secretary. We are affiliated with the Canterbury Fijian Community Trust which provide guidance and support but do not control or in any way direct our operations.
