Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Trust will be to provide education and information for health professionals about LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual) health issues, as well as provide support for health professionals who identify as LGBTQIA+ themselves.

Entity Structure

Our trust deed states that our board will comprise of no less than three (3) Trustees and no more than seven (7) Trustees. The majority representation should be from the LGBTQIA+ community. We currently have six Trustees that constitute our governance board, including four executive positions: two co-chairs, treasurer and secretary.
