Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our purpose is to operate an artist run space called The Anteroom that connects with the local community and provides the public an opportunity for interaction with contemporary art. The Anteroom also supports national and international artists to develop contemporary art projects.

Entity Structure

We have a board of trustees called The Anteroom Arts Charitable Trust Board that states we must have no less than 3 trustees. We currently have 5 trustees that constitute our governance board including 3 positions of Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary. The Trust operates out of the gallery called The Anteroom in Koputai Port Chalmers.
