Charitable Purpose

The Trust is established: 3.1 To educate, promote and raise awareness of the wellbeing* of children and the role of the family in New Zealand in an environment where they are loved and cared for. 3.1.1 * Wellbeing is defined by For the Sake of Our Children as: • Safety: Every child is entitled to grow up in a safe and protected environment. • Strong Healthy Relationships: Every child is entitled to grow up with at least one significant adult committed to loving and caring for them. • Basic Necessities for Life: Every child is entitled to the provision and accessibility of education, health, and protection. 3.2 To educate young leaders in leadership skills and encourage and facilitate them into service in the community. 3.3 As an ancillary purpose, to promote and raise awareness of traditional family values* in New Zealand. 3.3.1 * Traditional family values is defined by For the Sake of Our Children as including that every child is entitled to grow up as part of the best
