Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Advance education through Space Sciences by creating learning opportunities focusing on the Wairarapa region: events, exhibits, workshops and performances; hands-on space education programmes for schools, families and adults; facilitating opportunities for people to reconnect with their whakapapa and improving their relationship with the natural world by understanding their place in the Universe; educating about protecting and preserving the dark sky and the natural environment of Wairarapa.

We are based at Stonehenge Aotearoa. Our trust deed states that we must have between two and nine Trustees. We currently have four Trustees that constitute our governance board. We have no trading operations currently, our trust was recently established.
