Charitable Purpose
Te Waka Rākau Charitable Trust is a community-led kaupapa that protects the mana of our natural resources, the mauri of the whenua and the well-being of wāhine and their whanau.
We do this through the traditional healing practice of Rongoā Māori.

Entity Structure
Our head office is based in Otaki. Our trust deed states that we must have between three and seven Trustees. We currently have three Trustees that constitute our governance board, including three executive positions: president, treasurer and secretary.
