Fenix Foundation had the opportunity to subdivide a block of rural land into six 1HA lifestyle blocks for resale. Because there was an element of risk in this venture, the trustees were advised to form a company for that purpose. The founding constitution was rejected by IRD as it did not confine ownership to be only registered charity entities. The amended constitution (sent to you by email) has now been approved by IRD. Roading costs have been paid but no sales have yet been made.
