Charitable Purpose

The Marae exists to cater for: • The fostering of internal Whanau/Hapu relations. • and Hapu living outside of the district. • The building of inter Hapu relationships and enhancing the meanings of whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga, aroha, whakapono, tikanga and taha wairua. • Developing relationships with Government Ministries, Agencies and Departments in the development of Marae, Hapu and Whanau. • Or any other activity which enhances the quality of life
