Charitable Purpose

4.1 The charitable objects and purposes of the Trust ( The Trust Purposes) are as follows: (a) To Fundraise and manage Kaiti Kings Chess Club in attending Chess Tournaments, whether in New Zealand or Overseas (b) To promote and encourage participation in Chess Tournaments (c) To provide opportunities for Kaiti Kings Chess Club tamariki to attend Chess Tournaments (d) To increase the ability of the Kaiti Kings Chess Club tamariki to be included in Chess Tournaments

Entity Structure

There is a governance board who oversee the running of the Trust so that children and parents can participate in chess tournaments locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The Board reports to the parents of the children selected for whichever tournament is the priority.
