Charitable Purpose

Create positive change and outcomes in the lives of Rangatahi through being influenced and guided by positive Male Maori Role Models; Create opportunities and outcomes for Maori youth within the Taranaki region; Decrease the over representation levels of Maori incarceration through early intervention using connection and whanau; Encourage, assist, develop and support Rangatahi to be work ready; wananga and reconnection to whakapapa and tikanga.

Entity Structure

We have a head office based in Taranaki. Our trust deed states that we will have a Board of Trustees that will consist of no less than 3 and no more than 5 trustees. There are to be 3 executive positions at any time: Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. We currently have 3 trustees that constitute our governance board. The trustees shall from time to time appoint a Kaumatua for the Trust who will ideally be selected from one of the local iwi.
