Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To engage with the Bruce Community to obtain support for the Milton Pool Facility and represent & promote the views of the community on all aspects of the development, including pool design, layout and other uses of the facility that will assist with the long term financial sustainability of the facility To ensure that the Milton Pool Facility stays fully or majority owned and managed by the Clutha Council To carry out any other charitable purpose deemed acceptable to the Trustee and IRD

Entity Structure

Our Trust structure is that we are based in Milton, to cover what is known as the Bruce Ward, an area which covers Milton, Waihola and Taieri Mouth. We have 8 Trustees, a chairperson , Secretary, Treasurer and a committee as a governing body. We are not affiliated with any other organisation, but we do have a memorandum of understanding with the Clutha District Council as part of the pool complex, which incorporates the Library and Service Center
