Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To spread the message of the ‘Hindu Dharma’ (Sanatana Dharma) in New Zealand and within the Manawatu wider Community and to help people understand and develop love for and service to the God through the principles of Hinduism as revealed in Vedas, Bhagavad Gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Upanishads, Puranas and other Hindu scriptures; provide education and Yoga and teaching young children our own language.

Entity Structure

Our office is situated in 178 Broadway Ave, Palmerston North. We are intending to build a temple / Community Hall that will be based in Palmerston North, Manawatu, The Executive Committee consists of: The five (5) Office-bearers: President, Vice-president, Secretary, Joint-secretary, Treasurer; and at least five (5) but no more than ten Executive Members. The total number of members of the Executive Committee, at any one time, will be not less than ten (10) and not more than fifteen (15).
