Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Charitable purpose of Runanga Marae Reservation is to provide a public facility and to raise funds for physical maintenance of the Marae. the facility provides and area for cultural, recreational and learning activities. Its missions is to hold fast to the treasures handed down by our Tupuna for the benefit of the present and future generations. To abide by our Runanga Marae Reservation Charter and to coincide with our Runanga Marae and Hapu Strategic Plan. The community of Runanga encompasses the marae, the lake, the surrounding whenua also including the owners, beneficiaries and teh community of homes and families up to a 7km radius.
