Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our main aim is to provide high quality arts entertainment to those residing in elderly/ palliative or retirement care homes/ villages, across NZ. There is a diverse mix of homes and owners and many activities co-coordinators in homes have very low budgets and few options. We aim to address the current inequity and access issues for this important group. It's the extremely challenging issues faced by our elderly , brought about by covid - 19, which has led to our society forming/acting now

Entity Structure

our structure is governed by our society rules. With over 15 members listed, but 5 offices carrying out the main tasks. These tasks stem from the society members, in meetings, identifying a possible arts project for entertaining the elderly/inform, and then the officers will seek to put it to concept and fruition. Age Concern New Zealand are our partner charity and benefactor of excess funds, as they are providing expert advise on our project ideas and ensuring transparency of operations.
