Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION 4. The objects and purposes of the Association shall be: 1) The primary purposes of the Association are to: a) promote and educate the public about Korean culture in the Wellington region; b) provide facilities for members to promote Korean culture in the Wellington region; c) represent and promote the interests of the Korean community in Wellington Region, such as to help new migrants to integrate into the community; and d) do any act or thing incidental or conductive to the attainment of any of the above purposes. 2) Without detracting from the primary purposes, the secondary purposes of the Association are to: a) establish codes of behaviour applicable to members; and b) make regulations to advance the attainment of any of the above purposes. 3) Regardless of the above purposes: a) no member of the Association shall derive any personal pecuniary gain from membership of the Association.
