Research, revive, preserve, and promote all aspects of traditional Māori performing arts, in particular those attributed to Ngāti Tarāwhai. Develop, organise, facilitate, provide, and promote training and education in Te Kapa o Ngāti Tarāwhai. Organise and promote cultural performances relating to Te Arawa and the Rotorua Community in general and Te Kapa o Ngāti Tarāwhai in particular. Develop and promote traditional Maori performing arts in schools
