Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To work with the wider Cromwell community and relevant organisations to, where possible, enhance and protect Lake Dunstan and it's catchments. To raise awareness among the wider public as to the importance of maintaining and improving the water quality and health of lakes and other waterways. To encourage the development of a management plan and monitoring framework for Lake Dunstan. To work with the community and relevant agencies to provide for appropriate measurement and monitoring of water quality.

Entity Structure

The Board consists of four Trustees (including chairperson), who meet regularly with other committee members Treasurer and Secretary, all of whom are volunteers. We are supported by local government and the community board. We have paid appointed various project coordinators' as funding allows.
