Charitable Purpose

Somali Education and Development Trust (SEDT) is a charitable organisation, advocating and empowering the Somalis and Africans living in New Zealand Aotearoa through Education, Social advocacy and Developmental projects that we transform the lives of Somali people and their African brothers and sisters in Aotearoa into better. After almost three decades of anarchy and civil war - Somalis fled and live in different parts of the world as refugees and migrants.
