Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To promote, develop and deliver professional arts and play therapy services within educational settings for children aged 4-12 years in a time of need or vulnerability. To provide mental, emotional and social health support for carers educational staff and support workers who are supporting NZ children aged 4-12 in a time of need or vulnerability. To raise awareness about child mental health and the impacts of childhood trauma within NZ society.

Entity Structure

Our Trust Deed provides for the appointment of between three and nine Trustees. At present we have three Trustees who constitute our governance board, each holding an executive position, Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. We are unaffiliated with the Department of Education, but our staff of three therapists work within schools to provide therapy, guidance and support to children in need and those who care for them. We operate throughout schools in the Auckland region.
