Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Mums Clique is New Zealand’s first charity with a primary focus on creating a community for women on their motherhood journey. Vision: Facing the struggles of motherhood, together. Mission: To provide support to mothers of all ages and stages throughout their motherhood journey. Why: Society is putting unrealistic pressure on mothers during the most vulnerable time in their lives, without support systems we know that mothers struggle, withdraw, develop depression which leads to suicide. How: By providing women with the support system they need to gain the emotional, social, educational, spiritual and physical skills required to confidently raise the next generation.

Entity Structure

The Mums Clique operates nationwide and is a Charitable Trust with a Board of Trustees and many volunteers who contribute to the day to day running. The Trust is managed by the Trustee's and day to day operations are managed by the Trustees and volunteers.
