Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Framework Trust was incorporated in 1984 to provide mental health services in the community in the Auckland region. In 2013 Ember Services Limited was incorporated to provide mental health and intellectual disabilities services to the community in the Auckland region. All government services contracts were transferred from the Trust to the services company. The Trust changed its name to Ember Wellbeing Trust and completed a successful merger with ConnectSR which was another provider of mental health and AOD services in the Auckland and Waikato regions. The Ember Group continues to provide mental health, AOD and intellectual disability services to its communities. Further charitable activities are being provided by charitable grants and provision of community housing.
